Lisa Drew is a photographer and producer, who is based in London.
In her photographic work, Lisa explores ideas of culture and society, focusing on communities in London. Ideas and theories are explored through the use of portraiture and the concepts of typologies and documentary. Recent projects have included her final year projects Flux and After Heygate, which explore the current redevelopment of Elephant & Castle.
As director of the South Bank Collective CIC, Lisa has produced several large scale projects. Furthermore she has a keen interest in organising and curating exhibitions, as well as working for galleries.
In her writing, Lisa establishes a link between the photographic image and digital culture and discusses the networked image and its representation within art galleries.
